Oh My... I guess we've been busy!
I don't know what happened to the last few weeks - and i can't believe that it's May already!

We are still waiting for more information about our paperwork for Maylynn - we (and our china liason) are hoping/thinking that we should get our LOA next week (we've been waiting 68 days). We then have to get an approval (i've heard it might be called an article 5) from CIS - this is a new & extra step with the new Hague requirements. Then we wait for our Consulate Appt. date and our Travel Approval - we are hoping that this will take no more than 8 weeks - please pray for that:) We've been finding lady bugs...

Taylor has finished up DHMS baseball and just had his first game for Kennewick Babe Ruth. He also has been umpiring KN baseball games to earn money for hockey. A few weeks ago he played in a hockey tournament in spokane for a Pacwest team - this was the first time that he has ever played for another association -kinda weird...:) I was a proud mama - he played VERY well - he even got player of the game! He definately does not have hockey out of his system - he will be playing for the West Coast Spring/Summer team. This team will be having a tourney in Whistler and Vancouver B.C. - i guess that's where we will be vacationing this summer!!! He is also hoping to go to a hockey camp in Canada...
A day in spokane waiting for a hockey game...
While we were waiting at the park - H. feel and she cried and cried and cried. She had stopped crying by the time we finally made it back to the car. Then Lance checked out her knees and elbows and gasped b/c she had scraped them - then the tears came pouring out again!!!! She is quite dramatic... We can't get her owies wet either.
Brayden (and Lance) is in the middle of their baseball season. The team is starting to come together better - they have now won 2 games!!! Woohoo!! Brayden really enjoys catching.

Hayleigh is well - Hayleigh:):) Tagging along to all of her big bro games etc... She has 2 weeks left of preschool and as soon as my work is over - i hope to enroll her in swimming lessons and possibly gymnastics...
I just got back from Dallas, TX for the Christian Alliance for Orphans Summit. It was a wonderful time. There was over 800 people there all with the same passion and purpose for orphans! We learned alot, cried alot, laughed alot and got lost alot! We came home encouraged and excited about how and what our orphan ministry at church can do!

Just checking in to see how it was going with Maylynn. Hoping you get all your paperwork soon, the waiting must be so hard. However, gosh it sounds like you guys are staying oh-so busy with your sports schedule!

Cheers, Kiy
