The day after the HFTF conference, Taylor's team (The Vancouver Giants) played here at home. He hasn't played in TC in over 3 years so it was super fun for him to play in front of so many family and friends! We had about 200 people in section J & K. Another cool thing was that we turned it into a fundraiser for HFTF and raised $600!
I was so thankful that coach put him on the starting line up. To see him out there during the national anthem in his home town was a dream come true. Flashbacks of him playing with his little hockey guys and singing the national anthems brought tears to my eyes. I'm so super proud of him and all that he has accomplished. I just pray that he stays focused and continues on...
