the beginning of may i ventured to lake forest, ca with 2 friends that share my passion of orphans. we attended the christian alliance for orphans summit at saddleback church. there were thousands of people there! i had the opportunity to go about 3 years ago and it had grown in numbers since then. there was so many different breakout sessions to go to it was hard to decide - we tried to split up to take in as much as we could...i just love going to the summit - it energize me and reaffirms what God has called me to do. excited to see how God uses the information that we learned while we were there!
taylor got to experience his first formal dance may 12 - he had a great time...
the next weekend we squeezed in a yard sale - we needed to get rid of some stuff and to make some money for our mission trip to Jamaica - we did - we made about $500!!. it was also at about this time that we decided that only brayden and myself will be going on the mission trip - we had really hoped that lance & taylor could go too but lance really doesn't have alot of extra vacation & taylor is working really hard to get & stay in shape - if he stopped his workout for 2 weeks, he would probably regress in his training and as it turns out now - he has a power skating camp in vancouver the last week in july...
that brings us to memorial day weekend - finally a weekend "kinda" off :) the only thing that we had plans to do was sell kettle korn for our jamaica trip
