A BLESSED DAY!!

Taylor's smile was from ear to ear!!!! Which brought tears to my eyes that i had to quickly fight back in the Dr. office, when Dr.K told him that he could resume normal activity! Which means he can play baseball and hockey with NO RESTRICTIONS!! The lesion on his knee is not 100% healed but is making good progress towards healing - so, please keep praying for total healing please:) We will go back in 3 months for another MRI etc... Thanks so much for your prayers.

We are really thankful for how God has worked in our lives these past 5 months. The news for Taylor that he couldn't play one of the sports that he is so passionate about was extremely HARD. We told him to hang in there and to see what God has in store for you - this is just a "bump" in the road. Over the past months, this time off from hockey has helped him to connect with our new church family at Calvary. It has really been a blessing and is exciting to see him grow spiritually and to make some really neat connections at church. He has expressed a desire to be a youth pastor when he grows up and that just warms my heart:) (Although, he also still wants to be a professional hockeyplayer, baseball player, dirt biker, skateboarder etc. but i will be praying for the first idea!!:):):)) I still won't forget the "dream" that he had while waking up from surgery - he said that he saw Jesus and He told him that "He would have a bright future and will change lives." And, i truly believe that He was telling us that no matter what - Taylor will be okay with whatever God has in store for him. It really gave me a sense of peace. Even though these past few months have been hard and "rocky" for one reason or another - it has truly been a blessing for our family! As with most "trials" there is growth in God. You just have to have Faith :):)
